GEICO, a leader in the auto insurance industry, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Claims Supervisor to oversee our dynamic claims team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of claim resolution that GEICO is known for. Located in our bustling claims department, this position requires strategic leadership, a deep understanding of claims processes, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Claims Supervisor will ensure that claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and within compliance standards, while also nurturing and developing the claims team. Direct and supervise the daily operations of the claims team. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their performance and development. Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with company guidelines and legal requirements. Manage and resolve escalated claims issues. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with other departments to streamline claims processes. Monitor and report on team performance and claims trends to senior management. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience with claims processing software and databases Knowledge of insurance policies and legal aspects of claims handling Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Claims Professional (CCP) Associate in Claims (AIC)
