Job Description Job Description Production Sign Manufacturing Shop Manager Location: Denton Seeking a hands-on Production Shop Manager with strong manufacturing experience to oversee daily operations in a signage production department. The ideal candidate will lead by example, working alongside the team to ensure all projects are completed accurately, on time, and to quality standards. Responsibilities: Manage daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of signage projects. Supervise, train, and motivate shop employees. Participate in hands-on production, including fabrication, assembly, and installation prep as needed. Maintain quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to client specifications. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and installers to ensure smooth project execution. Oversee inventory, material usage, and equipment maintenance. Identify opportunities to improve productivity and cost efficiency. Qualifications: experience in a production management or supervisory role within manufacturing, signage, or construction. Strong hands-on fabrication or production background. Working knowledge of materials such as aluminum, steel, and vinyl. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings. Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred: Experience with CNC routers, channel letter bending, or large-format printing. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or process improvement principles.
