review product designs, ensuring they meet industry standards,
customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Prepare
fabrication drawings and structural calculations, product
estimating, and shop drawing creation and review. Collaborate with
quality control teams to establish and maintain high-quality
standards for concrete products. Work closely with contractors,
government agency representatives, general manager, sales team, and
operations manager. Identify opportunities for process improvement
in concrete production to enhance efficiency and product
consistency. Assist in cost analysis and value engineering to
optimize product performance while managing production costs.
Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, testing
results, and design changes. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams, including production, quality control, and sales, to address
product-related challenges and opportunities. Ensure that concrete
products comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and
regulations. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging
technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in
product design and manufacturing processes. Effectively communicate
technical information to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders, including management and customers. Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering. Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft
Office software – Word, Excel. Must have an FE. Texas PE is a plus.
Ability to independently manage projects, gathering all
information, materials and authorizations. Prior experience with
precast concrete structures, state DOT projects, or
water/wastewater treatment projects preferred. Minimum 2 years of
relevant work experience in construction or precast industry
