Job Description Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES,
RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned. Support development and design engineering with
qualification activities on new and existing products, including
evaluation plans and first article visual inspection of PCB
assemblies and components. Conduct x-ray & cross sectioning of
electronic components to support evaluation activities. Interface
with global manufacturing facilities and suppliers to research
quality problems and maintain quality standards. Investigate
electronic assembly manufacturing processes to determine root
causes and implement corrective actions. Manage ISO 90001
compliance and QMS, including internal audits, certification
audits, and CAPAs. Work with design engineering, manufacturing
teams, and customers to analyze failures in returned units and
generate failure analysis reports. Work with design engineers,

Corrective Action Requests, risk assessments, and process holds for
product and process-related problems. Review and approve change
orders for quality impacts. Monitor and evaluate monthly PPM (Parts
Per Million) data from global manufacturing sites, analyze trends,
and address quality performance issues. Support Product
Environmental Compliance activities, such as RoHS, REACH, Conflict
of Minerals regulations. Collaborate with internal departments and
external customers to resolve Quality issues related to products
and processes. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A QUALITY ENGINEER To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or
equivalent, with a minimum of five years related experience and/or
training in quality within the electronic assembly industry.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals,
reports, legal documents, and electronic schematics. Strong written
and verbal communication skills. Experience with ISO 9001, QMS,
failure analysis, and corrective actions preferred. Education
and/or Experience Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or equivalent
and five years minimum related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience in quality
within the electronic assembly industry. Certificates, Licenses,
Registrations ISO training preferred. Physical Demands The physical
