Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Director of ManufacturingResponsibilities
The Director of Manufacturing is a senior role which involves overseeing the production of goods and/or services. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling all the resources needed to produce the company's goods and services. The Operations Manager ensures an organization is running as efficiently as possible to meet the expectations and maximize the profit of the organization
Job Duties:
Contribute towards the achievement of
company's strategic and operational objectives
Designing and implementing new
manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce
cost
Estimating the time and cost needed
to complete projects or milestones and adjusting them as needed
Developing and implementing
strategies to increase sales and market shares, including improving design
and functionality
Monitoring the performance of all
operations within the facility
Ensure that all products are
manufactured in a cost effective and timely manner in alignment with
specifications and quality requirements

Monitor existing processes and equipment and analyze their effectiveness
Create strategies to improve
productivity and efficiency
Recruit, train, supervise employees

Conduct weekly production meetings with necessary members of management/CEO
---
Develop plans for all aspects of production including equipment purchases, staffing needs, work schedules, and material requirements
Purchase materials, plan inventory
and ensure warehouse efficiency
Examine financial data/statements and
use them to improve profitability
Addresses customers' and employees'
concerns
Perform other duties as assigned
Direct all manufacturing operations
Prioritize and resource benchmarking
activities and participates in best practice sharing internally and
externally to drive competitive advantage
