Location:Medical Center-ProsperDepartment:Construction and Facility PlanningShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:The Construction Quality Assurance Manager will serve as the Cook Children's Health Care System building infrastructure representative on all construction/renovation projects that involves the assessment or modification to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications and/or other building infrastructure systems. This leader will collaborate with the construction/renovation project management team and organizational leaders on the development and execution of effective means and methods for constructing and commissioning projects at Cook Children's Health Care System.Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of construction experience in a healthcare setting is required. OR
  • 10 years of experience managing facility infrastructure systems in a healthcare or similar complex setting may be substituted for the required education.Certification/Licensure:
    • Licensure in a trade or inspection certification is required (preferred)
    • American Society of Healthcare Engineers Construction Management Certification (preferred)
    • American Society of Healthcare Engineers Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker (preferred)
