Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor
& Delivery Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Labor/Critical
Care Unit. This unit specializes in high-risk antepartum patients,
with a total of 12 labor beds and 6 antepartum beds. Nurses will
work closely with 8 private practice OBs and a 24-hour in-house OB
Hospitalist to provide exceptional care during the labor, delivery,
and recovery process. Unit Overview: - Unit Type: Labor/Critical
Care – Inpatient - Patient Population: High-Risk Antepartum -
Patient Ratio: 1:2 - Cases per Day: Approximately 6 - Physician
Coverage: 8 private OBs, 24/7 OB Hospitalist - Teaching Facility:
No - Documentation Systems: Epic, CPN Requirements: - Minimum
Experience: 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience -
Certifications Required: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS
(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation
Program) - Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN – Advanced) -
Must be comfortable floating to Mom/Baby unit and acting as a
sitter in the main hospital when needed. - Weekend Requirement: 6
weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Shift Expectations: - Typical
shift times are 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM - Clock-in time is required
before 6:45 AM/PM - Must be fully ready for shift huddle at 6:45
