Job Title: Critical Care Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: At least one year of recent Critical Care experience in a similar healthcare setting. License: Current RN Licensure required for the state. Certifications: NIH, BLS, and ACLS certification (AHA) required. Must-Have: Interpretation of dysrhythmias and care of ventilated patients. Description: The Critical Care RN is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Clearly communicates, both orally and in writing, to foster staff and patient understanding of the treatment plan. Displays sensitivity to the patient's needs such as physical, spiritual, and emotional, and evaluates the response to the delivery of care. Supports and promotes organizational initiatives to ensure quality patient care. Effectively manages department and patient activities in a time-efficient manner to ensure the delivery of care is organized and proficient. Provides quality customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to create a professional and respectful environment.
