(PCU) / Stepdown - Shift: 12 Hour Days (06:30-19:00) - Hours per
Week: 36 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End:
2/2/2026) - Weekend Requirement: Every Other/As Needed - Call &
Float: As Needed - Electronic Health Record: Meditech - Estimated
Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1680 Registered Nurse Qualifications -
Active RN license eligible to practice in Texas - Minimum 1 year of
recent Progressive Care/Stepdown nursing experience -
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH (must be obtained
prior to start) - Ability to provide clinical support to adult,
geriatric, and pediatric patient populations - Professional
demeanor and strong communication skills - Ability to float to
other nursing units as needed - MedSurg experience preferred PCU RN
Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality patient care in the
Progressive Care Unit - Monitor, assess, and document patient
status and progress - Administer medications and treatments per
physician orders - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare
teams to optimize patient outcomes - Educate patients and families
on care plans and recovery processes - Maintain compliance with
