Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: McKinney, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,885 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in McKinney, Texas, 75069! Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00-19:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Operating Room License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Candidates must have general and trauma OR skills. Experience in the operating room is required. Candidates must have neuro and ortho/spine experience. Description: The unit has 7 OR suites with a diverse staff of RNs, CSTs, and ancillary support staff. During the day shift, there is 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, and 6-7 CSTs present. The night shift includes 1 RN and 1 CST. Patient ratios are estimated to be 1:1. The unit utilizes various types of equipment with Meditech as the EMR system. Typical procedures performed in this unit include ortho, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology surgeries. Candidates with trauma center experience or additional ortho experience will be prioritized. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude. The call requirement includes one day a week and one weekend a month.
