Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Candidates with mother-baby
experience are preferred. Candidates without these skills will not
be considered for the role. Description: This is a general nursing
role in a newborn nursery setting. The unit has a total of 40 beds.
The nursing staff consists of 1 charge nurse and 4-5 nurses on each
shift. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 5-6 patients. The type of
equipment used includes EMR Meditech and CPN. A stable mother-baby
experience is essential for candidates. Typical procedures include
care for newborns and Level 2 interventions such as phototherapy
and blood sugar monitoring. The best personality fit is described
as warm and bubbly. Nurses are expected to work every other
weekend. There is no on-call requirement. The dress code is royal
