Job Title: LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN
Specialty: LTAC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift:
10.5 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required, 2-5 years preferred
License: Texas or multi-state compact RN license required
Certifications: ACLS & BLS through the American Heart Association
required Must-Have: - Vent/trach experience - Knowledge of central
lines - Preferred wound care experience - LTAC experience preferred
Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift
accountability for providing care to patients. Care is provided by
utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse
Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered
Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific
judgment. Leadership is shown in the anticipation and planning for
safe delivery of care. Clinical competencies are maintained through
continuing education. Patient care priorities are delegated based
on the education and experience of the staff available. The
Registered Nurse provides direction and supervision of assigned
