Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,622 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CCRN preferred Must-Have: Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience is essential. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. Assignments will be made according to patient acuity and staff skills. Experience with all standard ICU equipment, ventilators, and cardiac output monitors is required. Experience with the documentation system Meditech is preferred. Nursing responsibilities include central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU procedures. Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs are required. Nails must be clean and healthy, with no artificial nails or gel. Hair should be neat and clean, styled conservatively, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be well-groomed. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Additional Unit Guidelines: Floating may be required based on staffing needs.
