75096 Work Hours: PRN, 6:00am – 4:00pm Neuro Department Highlights:
· Fellowship trained Neurosurgeons and Neuro Interventional
Radiologists · Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke
Center · 24 bed ICU and dedicated Neuro unit · Neuro Trauma,
Elective Spine, Neuro Interventional Radiology and Brain Surgical
cases Here’s What You Need · Graduate of an AMA accredited
Physician Assistant program required · 3 years of experience as a
Physician Assistant preferred · 1 year of experience in
Neurosurgery/Neuro IR strongly preferred · PA - Physician Assistant
Current State of Texas PA license upon hire required and · ACLS -
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required and · BCLS -
Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient
care and maintained quarterly required and · Other - NCCPA upon
hire preferred · Other - must be credentialed by Medical Staff
Service upon hire rquired Here’s What You Will Do - Documents
actions, assessments, progress notes and plans in the EHR utilizing
approved protocols, order sets and navigators as appropriate;
addresses medication reconciliation. - Contributes to positive
patient experience through effective patient communication and
focus on coordination and communication with the multidisciplianry
care team; works with varied Patient Experience Teams providing
feedback and ideas. - Meets/performs regulatory requirements,
NPSGs, clinical and other KPls, safety standards; analyzes
performance; demonstrates fiscally sound decisions. - Performs
clinical procedures authorized by the physician within scope of
training and medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations Additional
