Administers radiation therapy treatments to patients under the
supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. Ensures accurate delivery of
prescribed doses, proper patient positioning, and adherence to
safety and compliance standards. Provides clinical instruction to
new staff and students while maintaining a safe, clean, and
organized work environment. Responsibilities Accurately deliver and
record radiation therapy treatments. Enter and maintain patient
treatment parameters in the electronic medical record. Assist with
clinical instruction for newly hired therapists and students.
Maintain patient appointment schedules and ensure correct billing
information. Prepare and cut custom blocks and molds as needed.
Perform basic MU calculations and interpret computerized treatment
plans. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company
compliance program. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work
environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiation
therapy technology program. ARRT certification required. Valid
state license for radiation therapy in Texas. Minimum of 1 year
experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered. Ability
to lift/move up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks required
for patient care.
