Healthcare Setting: Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/n - Start
Date: January 5, 2026/n - End Date: April 6, 2026/n - Contract
Length: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)/n -
Weekly Hours: 36/n - Open RN Positions: 5/n - Estimated Weekly Pay:
$1,360 - $1,460/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n -
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or
compact state/n - At least 1 year of recent experience in
Progressive Care Unit (PCU), step-down, or intermediate care
nursing jobs/n - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required/n
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)/n -
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts/n - Strong clinical
assessment, patient monitoring, and healthcare communication
skills/n /n/nPCU Nurse Responsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality
nursing care to patients in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit/n -
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; respond promptly
to changes in status/n - Administer medications, treatments, and
nursing interventions as prescribed/n - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement
individualized patient care plans/n - Educate patients and families
on care plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing health
management/n - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all
patient care activities in compliance with hospital policies/n /n
