Job Description Job Description Salary: $200.00 /hr Billet Health is a healthcare organization that provides total patient care continuum and we are seeking a full-time provider to assist with the growth of our Hospice division. The ideal candidate would help oversee hospice operations, and prioritizes patient wellbeing and quality of care, and is compliant with company, state and federal regulations. Job Description: Provide high quality patient care in a house call setting (Assisted Living, Group Homes and Patients private homes) / Face-to-face visits Assess patients regularly, ensuring they meet qualifications for hospice Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions per company policies and procedures Evaluate patient care plan, for medical needs, sometimes in addition to emotional and spiritual needs Serve as the resource patients and staff need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient IDG Works collaboratively with office administrator and hospice staff to achieve patient care and quality objectives Attend required meetings with the hospice team (IDG and monthly in-service) Being available to communicate effectively with hospice team and family of patient Job Requirements and Skills: Valid licensure (MD or DO) in the State of Texas or ability to obtain prior to employment Active DEA license with prescribing authority Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Critical thinking skills utilizing evidence based standards of practice Thrive in a patient-focused environment Ability to work within a team and take direction Knowledge and experience with billing and coding is preferred Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as HIPAA regulations Benefits: Malpractice policy coverage Medical Specialty: Hospice and Palliative Medicine Job Type: Contract Work Location: On the road
