Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Pre Op Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 05:30 - 16:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: IV Starts Experience with Meditech Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pre Op specialty. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Meditech. Experience in day surgery and preoperative care is essential. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap in patient care. Candidates will work 4x10 shifts from 5:30 AM to 4 PM. The unit has a total of 22 beds and consists of a team of 41 staff members. Typical staffing during the day includes charge nurses and RNs for preoperative and postoperative care. Patient ratios in preop and holding are 1:1, with 3:1 in postoperative care. The types of procedures performed include general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, and scopes. Candidates should possess the ability to work flexibly as a team player. Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not required. Self-scheduling is available, with a requirement to work two Mondays and two Fridays per schedule period.
