A registered nurse with operating room expertise is needed to fill the role of OR Circulator at a healthcare facility near Lipan, TX. This contract opportunity offers a focused day-shift schedule and the chance to work in a specialized surgical environment encompassing orthopedics, urology, gynecology, general surgery, robotics, and endoscopy. Schedule/Hours: Day shifts: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM Monday through Friday Call required 5 to 7 days per month No block scheduling, no 48-hour shifts, and no floating Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current RN licensure BLS and ACLS certification Minimum 2 years of operating room experience Skilled in ortho, urology, gynecology, general surgery, Robotics XI, and endoscopy procedures Travel nursing experience preferred Must live more than 50 miles from the facility Responsibilities: Provide circulating nursing care in a 6 OR and 2 endoscopy bed setting Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio ensuring patient safety and surgical efficiency Utilize paper charting for documentation Adhere to facility protocols and standards in a fast-paced surgical environment Additional Information: Scrubs are provided Maximum return-to-office (RTO) of 3 days after call This contract role is ideal for seasoned OR nurses seeking a stable weekday schedule with occasional call responsibilities in a supportive and well-equipped surgical center.
