Job Description:
Eatzi's is growing! We are looking for Sous Chefs to partner
with Executive Chefs and operations teams to develop a compelling
market for Meals for the Taking, in a quality employment, with
excellent quality food, business growth, value perception and

pay and benefits!Responsibilities:Produce, validate and store foods
listed on a prep sheet by recipe in a timely manner.Follow all
recipes precisely and completely.Convert recipes using standard
liquid, volume and weight conversionsHandle large volume cooking in
a fast-paced environmentEnsure proper equipment
operation/maintenanceEnsure proper safety and sanitation in
kitchenSupervise/coordinate all related culinary activitiesInspire
market staff to maintain a sense of self pride and passion of food,
service and high standards.Work closely with the executive chef to
build a brand that is unique, upscale, profitable and a compelling
place to work and shop.Maintain a positive work environment in the
kitchen and market.Qualifications:Bachelor's or related culinary
degree with 4 years of industry or related culinary
experience.Minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume food
production and merchandising.Background in High-Profile
restaurants, hotels, and/or resorts a plus.Well-organized, with
proven ability to meet timelines and show results through
initiatives.Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening
skills.Excellent and ethical vendor-partnership skills with
knowledge and experience of sourcing unique and new
products.Provides an out of the box approach to business. Able to
infuse new ideas, systems and programs to achieve objectives.Good
analytical and problem-solving skills. Is resourceful.Positive,
optimistic, enthusiastic and self-confident attitude.Operates
calmly and proactively in stressful and difficult
situationsCommunicates and interacts professionally and
respectfully with guests and all levels of the organizationMust be
able to lift 40 lbs and push/pull carts weighing 150 pounds.Must be
able to speak, read, write, and understand English and speak
