We are passionate about delivering rejuvenation and exceptional guest service, and we’re looking for dedicated team members who share our vision. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced F&B Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations at Zion Canyon Hot Springs. The ideal candidate will lead kitchen staff in delivering high-quality food in a timely, safe, and professional manner. This hands-on role is essential in maintaining food safety standards, coordinating meal preparation, and ensuring a clean, efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations & Food Preparation: · Supervise all back-of-house operations during shifts, ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and presented to quality standards. · Assist with food prep and line cooking as needed during peak hours. · Ensure all kitchen areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health codes and sanitation standards. · Oversee and support inventory rotation (FIFO), stock levels, and communicate supply needs to the Food & Beverage Manager. Staff Supervision & Training: · Lead, schedule, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. · Train new team members on kitchen procedures, safety, and food handling protocols. · Foster a collaborative team culture and encourage accountability and consistency. Safety & Compliance: · Ensure compliance with all local health and food safety regulations. · Monitor proper use and care of kitchen equipment and tools. · Assist with kitchen inspections and maintain readiness for audits. Guest Service Support: · Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food service and address special dietary needs or guest requests. · Uphold service standards that contribute to a positive guest experience. Qualifications Experience: · Minimum 2 years of kitchen or culinary experience in a supervisory or lead role. · Experience in hospitality, resort, or wellness settings is a plus. Skills & Traits: · Strong leadership and communication skills. · Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations. · Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. · Detail-oriented and committed to cleanliness and food safety. · Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Certifications (Preferred): · ServSafe Food Handler or Manager certification. · First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
