opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer II to join our
Surveillance Sensor Radio Frequency (RF) Solutions Engineering Team
in the Dallas, TX area. We encourage curious, creative problem

our country safe. The Software organization develops software
applications, including integration and test on missiles,
launchers, radars, naval systems, fire control and other complex
systems. Our precision software and firmware integrate operating
systems, device drivers, networking, and control software to bring
together sensors, guidance, and flight control processing features
to complete the mission. The Software organization is made up of
several Centers located across the country, responsible for all
aspects of the software development lifecycle. Our 4000 software

Will Do Assist and participate in the requirements, design,
development and testing of real-time embedded software, application
software, and tools, to include development of new work products or
enhancement of existing applications and systems. Design, code,
test, integrate, and document software solutions. Participate in
internal review of software components and systems. Collaborate
with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
Follow established development practices and processes to maintain
the configuration management of software products. This position
may require occasional business-related travel. Qualifications You
Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior
relevant experience. Experience in developing, testing, and
integrating real-time software applications written in C++ or
closely related software languages. Experience in computer
scripting languages such as Python/Shell/Perl. Qualifications We
Prefer Active and transferrable U.S. government issued Secret
security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Development
experience on Linux, VxWorks, or other Real Time Operating Systems.
Experience working in lab environments with physical hardware
(e.g., test benches, simulators). Ability to quickly understand and
navigate complex systems and established code bases. Experience
with product development utilizing the Scrum techniques of the
Agile software development process. Experience with DevSecOps
pipeline implementation and use, including Static Code Analysis,
Automated Build, and Automated Test techniques using continuous
integration/continuous delivery with Test-Driven Development
approach. Hands-on experience with Git for version control and

role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
