You! We CGI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum
Master to join our team with strong problem-solving skills,
excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with
business and technical teams in a dynamic environment. The
individual in this role would be responsible for overseeing
software development squad(s) and working under the SAFe or Spotify
methodology. You will have an opportunity to work with top
Financial Services companies to develop solutions in an Agile
environment. This position must be performed at the client site in
Dallas, TX. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Strong
proficiency and experience with encouraging Agile behaviors,
reinforcing practices, norms, ceremonies, and supporting the
overall Squad performance and efficiency . Agile/Scrum Fundamentals
– WHY and HOW . Understanding of JIRA/Kanban boards . Capture,
supervise Metrics to inform the conversations with partners .
Identifying team improvement opportunities and looking externally
for best practices to support continuous improvement . Leading and
coordinating logistics for Agile ceremonies and practices, e.g.,
backlog maintenance, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and
retrospectives . Ensuring all work is tracked in the backlog and
accurately balanced across team members . Maintaining and updating
the Squad's process metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and
clear communications to partners . Foster continuous improvement of
performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow and
velocity. . Guide the team to remove impediments. . Assess the
Scrum maturity of the team and coach them to higher levels of
maturity. Help the team improve and take ownership for their
actions. . Help the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the
product backlog and roadmap. Help the PO guide the team while
facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to scope,
priorities and product quality. Required qualifications to be
successful in this role: At least 6-9 years of software development
experience and 5years of experience as a Scrum Master. . Experience
leading and guiding team ceremonies including Sprint Planning,
Stand-Ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review/Retrospective. . Work
to remove team impediments and escalate impediments to Project
Leads that cannot be resolved at the team level. . Experience of
collaborating with the Product Owner and other development team
members for refinement, status and coordination. . Ensure all team
features, stories, and tasks are aligned and maintained in project
software development lifecycle. . Provide agile coaching as
required to scrum team members. . Help the team set realistic
objectives for Feature and Sprint delivery timeframes. . Certified
Scrum Master (CSM or SAFe SSM) . Financial industry background is
preferred . Software development background experience is preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

determination of this range includes various factors not limited to
skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and
certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based
performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the
top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is
$77,800.00 - $172,400.00. CGI's benefits are offered to eligible
