our team in support of the Department of Justice’s (DoJ)
groundbreaking program aimed at strengthening the infrastructure,
enhancing cybersecurity, and improving user experience across US
Marshals Service (USMS) districts. This IT modernization initiative
is a critical component of ensuring the effectiveness and security
of our nation’s law enforcement operations. We are looking for an
experienced Device Support Specialist to join our team on this new

Provision mobile devices for users, ensuring they are configured
correctly and ready for use. Test iOS updates to ensure
compatibility and performance before deployment to users. Manage
configuration control applications to maintain consistent device
settings and policies. Troubleshoot and resolve device issues
promptly to minimize downtime and ensure user productivity.
Optimize user experience by implementing best practices and
recommendations for device usage. Implement security settings on
mobile devices to protect sensitive data and comply with
organizational policies. Ensure data integrity on mobile devices
through regular audits and compliance checks. Apply performance
enhancement techniques to improve device speed, responsiveness, and
overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
align device support strategies with business objectives and IT
strategies. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for
device support processes, configurations, and procedures. Provide
technical support and guidance to end-users on device-related
issues. Stay current with emerging mobile device technologies,
trends, and best practices. Participate in the procurement and
evaluation of mobile device tools and software. Ensure compliance
with industry regulations and internal policies in all device
support efforts. Conduct regular reviews and audits of device
support processes to identify areas for improvement. Contribute to
the continuous improvement of device support strategies and
methodologies. Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and training
sessions to enhance team skills and capabilities. Qualifications:
Required: Active DoD Public Trust clearance or US citizen with
ability to obtain Public Trust upon hire Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related
field. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Device Support
Specialist or in a similar mobile device support role. Proficiency
in mobile device provisioning and configuration. Experience in
testing iOS updates and ensuring compatibility. Strong skills in
managing configuration control applications. Excellent
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for device issues.
Knowledge of user experience optimization techniques. Expertise in
implementing security settings on mobile devices. Understanding of
data integrity assurance practices. Familiarity with performance
enhancement techniques for mobile devices. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Desired: Certifications such as Apple
Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or equivalent. Experience
with mobile device management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Microsoft
Intune, VMware Workspace ONE). Knowledge of endpoint security
solutions and mobile threat defense. Familiarity with
containerization and microservices architectures. Experience with
automation and scripting for device support processes. - What You

host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not
limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

one location, the range shown is the national average for the
position. The proposed salary range for this position is:
