A food manufacturing company is needed a 2nd shift production
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews daily production schedule.
Ensures daily paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate
Trains, coaches and monitors production associates.
Reviews and monitor employee time in online system
Conducts performance evaluations of all assigned employees.
Responsible for hiring, managing, disciplining, and terminating
Ensures daily staffing levels are sufficient to ensure
completion of orders.
Responsible for ensuring HACCP compliance for shift. Continuous
development, analysis and utilization of established departmental
performance data programs to achieve departmental goals.
oAbility to understand, implement and analyze SPC (Statistical
Process Control) practices, to add validation to all aspects of the
oAnalysis, development and reporting to department OEEs (Overall
Equipment Effectiveness); KPIs (Key Performance Indicators); and
EFFs (Equipment Efficiency).
Continuous analysis of current production processes and
procedures, proposals for improvements, implementation and follow
through of agreed upon changes.
Education and/or Experience
2-4 year degree and 3-5 years supervisory experience or
equivalent combination of education/work experience required.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, strong
computer skills, be self-motivated, safety conscious, detail
oriented, able to multi-task, ambitious, and have a leader and
Related manufacturing experience required.
SQF and USDA environment experience preferred.
Understanding of HACCP requirements.
Ability to work in a fast paced and hot/humid and chilled
Must be able to work assigned shift schedule.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2nd shift hours: 3pm -finish-9 or 10 hours, some Saturdays
Must be willing to drive to McKinney.
