Job Description:

This position will be based in either Dallas or McKinney, Texas.

The individual must be self-motivated and able to work both as a team member and independently,

taking directions from an established Senior Program Parts Manager.

The individual must demonstrate ability to interface with Suppliers, Design Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Component Engineering personnel. The individual will be expected to present part issues and resolutions in meetings with Senior Program Parts Managers and Program technical and business personnel. The individual must comprehend and support the program parts management plan and obsolescence tracking matrices, and work with Component Engineering and the Program o?ce to ensure that technical requirements are met. The individual will identify and track issue resolution for situations involving parts obsolescence through support or execution of lifetime buys, selections of alternate parts, redesign e?orts or other mitigation strategies. The individual will assist in the performance of Parts Engineering, Components Engineering or Applications Engineering tasks supporting programs in the Proposal, System Design Description, Production, Production and Sustainment Support phases. Position will

require day to day interface with Designers, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other disciplines. The individual will be required to understand program requirements, statements of work (SOWs) and other de?ned customer component application requirements. The individual will be working with Program Bill of Materials (BOMs) to assure their completeness and accuracy. The individual will provide technical support to procurement and engineering which includes the review of drawings and speci?cations. The individual will track and report status of technical issues relating to drawing and speci?cation changes, and use of alternate parts to support the manufacturing build cycle.

The individual will be required to identify proposal requirements and coordinate activities for all component e?orts (Component Engineering, part test, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) and data review) required by the Programs. Individual will assist and support the Senior Program Parts Manager to research and compile data to support contract development, basis of estimates, and supplier statements of work for Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS/Obsolescence) and Parts Management e?orts. Individual will perform extensive data-processing, data-mining, and data-reduction to support the Senior Program Parts Manager to create periodic reports, summaries, and presentations.

Occasional travel to supplier or customer sites may be required.

Required Skills:

* Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in engineering, production support, or related product development disciplines * Previous experience with product development lifecycles * Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data packages (TDP), technical and schedule risks, create/reduce/compile professional data reports, and to understand cost reduction opportunity concepts. * At least one or more years experience in: * Selecting and identifying electronic and/or mechanical component sources * Familiarity with basic component failure modes * Ability to locate MIL specs and MIL Standards * Understanding of the Parts Manager role * Demonstrated familiarity with parts, suppliers, and basic aspects of parts obsolescence. * Working knowledge of Microsoft O?ce products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint); ability to demonstrate pro?cient hands-on computer skills * Must be eligible to apply and procure DoD Secret Security Clearance within 1-year of accepting position

Desired Skills:

* Four or more years of professional experience in engineering, production support, or related product development disciplines. * Demonstrated ability to work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment and to coordinate multiple concurrent projects. * Pro?cient using Microsoft O?ce products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) * Experience with counterfeit part mitigation * Experience working with Non-franchise distributors * Existing DoD Secret Security Clearance * Prior experience in Defense or Aerospace

Required Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in STEM Fields (Engineering, Science, Math, Technical Business, or Technology-related) * BS and 2 years of experience, MS and 0 years of experience

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
