Job Description:
Job Summary: - Assists the pharmacist by filling physician
orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable
use; mixes IV admixture solutions as required using aseptic
technique in the Laminar Air Flow hood; types labels, bills
medications and performs other related duties. Inspects and
monitors all medication storage areas throughout the hospital on a
monthly scheduled rotation. Monitors and inspects all medication
refrigerators for appropriate temperature conditions on a daily
basis throughout the hospital. Performs other duties as assigned.

Variable Shift
Regulatory Requirements:--- -High School diploma or the
equivalent.--- -Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) required. -
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.--- - All
technicians who sterile compound MUST have 40 hours of training
