Job Description:
TeamHealth has an opportunity for an emergency medicine (EM)
physician to join our emergency department (ED) team at Palestine
Regional Medical Center in Palestine, Texas. This Level III
facility has an annual volume of 32,000, a 14-bed ED, daily APC
coverage, and a fast track. You'll see a moderate to high acuity
with a 9% admit rate. Palestine Regional Medical Center does have a
hospitalist program in place, and the EMR is MedHost. The facility
features a helicopter service, specialty support for cath lab,
interventional radiology, neurology, OB, ortho, peds, and psych. If
you are board eligible/board certified in EM or family medicine
(FM) with extensive ED experience, you'd make a great fit in this
